About Katie

A professional-looking brunette woman smiles calmly and warmly. She is the social worker and therapist who owns this clinic and offers psychotherapy and counselling; her bio indicates she supports clients navigating trauma and neurodiversity.

Welcome — I’m here to offer a compassionate, supportive therapy space where you can explore your mental health and grow at your own pace. My approach blends evidence-based treatments like Narrative Therapy and DBT with wholistic practices, kind humour, and genuine human connection. Whatever you’re dealing with, I’ll walk with you through it — with kindness, consideration, reflection, and respect.

I bring four years of psychotherapy practice — including over two and a half years working with couples — following more than five years of social work experience in education, housing, Indigenous services, mental health, and youth work.

Alongside my Master’s in Wholistic Social Work from Laurier’s Indigenous Field of Study and my Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Windsor, I draw on lived experiences, the wisdom of colleagues and teachers, and everything I’ve learned from my clients along the way.

In my free time, I support my own wellness by spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking and baking, thrifting, hiking, and watching cozy murder mysteries while knitting.

I believe meaningful growth happens in connection and community — through relational learning, we can create lasting change together. If you feel I might be the right therapist to walk with you on your journey, I invite you to reach out. Let’s explore what support might look like for you.
